The I amsterdam City Card is the best way to save time and money during your trip to the city of canals. It includes free entry to the main museums, unlimited access to public transportation, a canal cruise, and a 24-hour bike rental! The I amsterdam City Card will allow you to visit the main attractions of the Dutch capital for free, saving up to 60%!

Among the attractions included, here are some of the must-sees: Rijksmuseum, Moco Museum, Rembrandt House Museum, ARTIS Zoo, Science Center Nemo, A'DAM LOOKOUT, H'ART, and Windmills of Zaanse Schans. Each tourist card also includes discounted admission to other attractions, such as Heineken Experience, Johan Cruijff ArenA, and Amsterdam Dungeon. You'll also have unlimited access to the city's public transportation system for the duration of the card. On top of all that, a free canal cruise and free bike rental for 24 hours are included!

How does the City Card work? The I amsterdam City Card is a digital card that works on smartphones through an application. To use the card, you'll need to download the I amsterdam City Card app and add the card. Remember to activate the card only when you're in Amsterdam and ready to use it. Make sure to charge your smartphone so that you have access to it throughout the day. Through the app, you'll be able to transfer cards to your family or friends and navigate the city through a map that highlights the best locations. Once a card has been transferred, it cannot be transferred again.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: Head to the "I amsterdam Store" if you need any help with the "I amsterdam City Card" app, or if you would like to get information and tips about your stay in Amsterdam, located on the north side of the central train station, Amsterdam Centraal. Opening hours of I amsterdam Store, Monday to Friday 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM.(De Ruijterkade 28, Amsterdam, Netherlands)

  • The "I amsterdam City Card" comes in digital form and works on smartphones through an app. To use the City Card you will need to download the "I amsterdam City Card" app and add your card to it. Activate the card only when you are in Amsterdam and ready to use it

  • Please note that you are required to claim your digital City Card by installing the official City Card App and registering by using your unique CC-code specified in your voucher

  • You can download the app in iOS and android by searching "I amsterdam City Card" app in each corresponding app store

  • Make sure to charge your smartphone well to ensure you have access to it all day. Through the app, you can transfer cards to your family members or friends and navigate the city through a map highlighting the best locations. Once a card has been transferred, it cannot be transferred (back) again

  • Please note that for some locations it is required to book a timeslot in advance. Visit iamsterdam.com/timeslot to book yours. Booking a time slot will not activate your City Card

  • There are no reduced children’s rate for the 'I amsterdam City Card'

  • Your voucher is not valid for booking any of the activities. You must download the 'I amsterdam City Card' before booking any activities

  • In the event that one of the services, museums or attractions connected to the City Card is not available or closed during the validity of your City Card or if you have not been able to use everything for other reasons (for example due to no available time slots), you are not entitled to compensation in any form
