-What you can expect-
The Doge's Palace represented the seat of Venetian political power for centuries. In its splendid rooms, plastered and immersed with hundreds of masterpieces of painting, the Duke and his Council controlled the fate of a republic with a thousand-year history.

You will discover the palace together with a guide that will tell you everything about the European Middle Ages and the immediately following centuries. Admire the rich details of the gold staircase and the realism of the scenes depicted by many artists who have decorated this building.

You will relive the anguish of the prisoners crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs and entering the Venetian prisons, famous for hosting Giacomo Casanova.

  • Please refer to your voucher for final information regarding meeting points, pick-up locations, and pick-up time

  • Meeting point description: At the brown wooden newsstand with the yellow sign with "MEETING POINT" written on it on Calle Larga de l'Ascension, St. Mark’s Square, in front of the Post Office. Please be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time.(Calle larga de l'Ascension, 30124 Venice VE, Italy)

  • Not allowed:Bags and backpacks are not allowed inside the Doge's Palace

  • Know in advance:With the same ticket, you can visit by yourself other museums in St. Mark's Square: Old Royal Palace now Museo Correr, Museo Archeologico Nazionale, and monumental rooms of the Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana

  • Please note that on certain days between 18th April 2025 and 27th July 2025, every visitor to Venice is required to pay, directly to Venice Municipality, an access fee, unless otherwise excluded. Please check all the information and procedures for registration or payment on the dedicated website of Comune di Venezia
