Pompeii and Amalfi Coast private luxury tour｜Italy

The private tour will start from Sorrento or Positano, at the established address, from your hotel / accomodation or from any address in Sorrento or Positano. You will have a sedan car or an air-conditioned luxury minivan driven by a professional English-speaking local driver who can introduce you to the history and main attractions you will see during your trip.

Starting from Sorrento/Positano, we will then continue along the most beautiful Coast in Italy: the Amalfi Coast! it embraces Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, but along the coast there are many other fascinating cities, you can decide where to stop and which other city you prefer to visit.

After 1 hour drive from Positano we reach Amalfi, not to miss the iconic Arab-Norman cathedral of Sant'Andrea dating back to the ninth century in the central square, along the side streets of the city, there are numerous shops of local products and local crafts. Between the ninth and eleventh centuries, Amalfi it was home to a powerful maritime republic.

Just fifteen minutes from Amalfi there is Ravello, is located in a unique panoramic position across the coastline, to be visited without any doubt, are the two ancient villas Rufolo and Cimbrone and their wonderful gardens, also the main Cathedral.

From Ravello we will continue to Pompeii, here we will have 2 hours to visit the ruins of Pompeii, ancient Roman city, Unesco heritage. The entire city buried under the pumice and ash from the eruption of 79 AD of Vesuvius. (admission ticket at own expense). We advise you to book an expert guide in Pompeii to better understand the importance of this archaeological site, the most important in the world! The guide is not included, the cost is 160 euros for 2 hours.

The full-day tour will end with the return to Sorrento or Positano in the desired place.
