Step inside the Ooraminna Hotel and explore the station, including the Drover’s Boy film set and set location of many other famous movies and TV shows.
Visit the Old Ghan Museum and Heritage Railway, and learn about the original train line built between Adelaide and Darwin
The Old Ghan Museum is a fascinating place and important part of Central Australia’s history and it’s unique story
The afternoon includes a visit to the interactive Royal Flying Doctor Service museum where you can learn about the history and current operation of this important service
The tour takes you to the School of the Air where you can learn about how kids go to school from remote locations now and in the past.
The tour also visits the Telegraph Staiton which was the first European Settlement in Alice Springs and concludes at the Anzac Hill lookout where you can enjoy panoramic views of Alice Springs and the Macdonnell Ranges in the distance.

- Health & Safety Advisory: The walks are considered very safe for all age groups, and do not require a high level of fitness or agility. Extreme weather conditions and high temperatures are common in the outback and passengers should be well prepared.
- What to Bring: Sturdy, non slip walking shoes, hat, sun protection, fly net,and a water bottle.

In circumstances where the cancellation is due to external events outside reasonable control, refunds will be less any unrecoverable costs already incurred for the customer

A Tour, Transfer or Private Charter will not proceed unless the minimum number of quests required by Emu Run Experience is confirmed. Customers will be notified as soon as possible or at least 24 hours prior to the tour
Smoking is not permitted on the vehicle or throughout the Tour/Transfer/Private Charter at any location where smoking is prohibited
Anti-social behaviour and intoxication creating disturbance to other guests or the Emu Run Experience driver/guide will not be tolerated and the Customer may be evicted at the discretion of the driver/guide
if guest choose to leave the Tour/Transfer/Private Charter at any time before arriving at the final drop off point, guest must inform the Emu Run Experience driver/guide before departing. Transport and other costs from an early departure are at a cost to guest, not Emu Run Experience
No changes can be made to the itinerary once the Tour, Transfer or Private Charter has departed
Emu Run Experience reserves the right to change the departure point or time, up until 24 hours before the departure time. Emu Run Experience will notify guest via email of the changes and specify the new location and time to meet
If you have a food allergy (e.g. peanuts), please advise at the time of booking and carry any necessary medication with you on tour.
