Experience Yosemite without trying to squeeze hundreds of miles of driving and the entire national park into a single day. This private two-day journey from Los Angeles is designed to give you more time in nature, more flexibility, and a much more relaxed way to discover Yosemite.
On Day 1, leave Los Angeles in the morning and travel north through California toward the Sierra Nevada. Instead of rushing directly through Yosemite Valley, begin your adventure among the giant sequoias of Mariposa Grove. Walk beneath some of the largest and oldest trees on Earth, including the famous Grizzly Giant and California Tunnel Tree. The walking route can be adjusted to the group’s pace and interests.
After exploring the grove, continue to Oakhurst, where you can check into your independently booked accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening near Yosemite.
Day 2 is dedicated to Yosemite’s legendary scenery. Enter the park early and discover Yosemite Valley with stops at Tunnel View, Bridalveil Fall, Yosemite Falls, Sentinel Bridge, El Capitan Meadow, and Valley View. Enjoy time for short walks, photographs, and scenic stops rather than simply viewing the park through a car window.
When seasonal road conditions allow, continue into the mountains to Washburn Point and Glacier Point for spectacular views of Half Dome, Yosemite Valley, and the surrounding Sierra Nevada.
After a full day exploring Yosemite, relax on the return drive to Los Angeles with drop-off at your original pickup location.
Because this is a private experience, the itinerary can be adjusted to your group’s pace, weather conditions, seasonal road access, and the places you most want to experience.
