Embark on an exciting ATV adventure through the captivating landscapes of Selinunte, Sicily. Whether you’re an adventure lover or a history enthusiast, this ATV tour offers a perfect combination of adrenaline, nature, and culture, making it an unforgettable experience.
Itinerary Starting in the heart of Selinunte, ride through the stunning Belice Nature Reserve, a serene area rich in olive trees and Mediterranean vegetation. As you travel along the old railway line, admire the ancient olive groves that have shaped the region’s agricultural history.
Your journey will then take you through expansive vineyards and a shallow river, past which you’ll arrive in the coastal village of Triscina, where the scenery suddenly transforms. Here, you’ll encounter the stunning sand dunes, a small desert-like area that feels worlds away from the lush greenery you’ve just traversed. The sandy terrain offers a unique off-road experience as you navigate this otherworldly landscape.
The adventure continues as you follow the scenic Tre Fontane coastline, where the sparkling Mediterranean Sea accompanies your ride. Feel the sea breeze as you cruise along the beach, soaking in the views of crystal-clear waters and golden sands.
On your way back, pass alongside the majestic Selinunte Archaeological Park, one of the largest and most important Greek sites in the Mediterranean. The ancient ruins, towering temples, and historical significance of this area provide a glimpse into Sicily’s rich cultural past.
The tour concludes with a return to Selinunte, finishing at the starting point in via Pitagora.
