Whether you’re a beer lover or simply looking for a fun or experience driven evening out, Beer & Beyond run by The Local Experience promises laughs, cultural insights, and a taste of Bavarian tradition you won’t forget. Operating since 2011 under the same ownership, this is the city’s original and most social beer tour — an immersive journey into Munich’s world-famous beer culture.
Your evening begins with a meet-up in central Munich (near the Central Train Station), where you’ll connect with your friendly local guide and fellow beer enthusiasts. From there, stroll through the city’s lively streets as your guide shares fascinating beer-related facts, local legends, and stories about Munich’s rich brewing history.
Skip the lines at traditional beer halls and gardens and enjoy generous tastings — including beer poured straight from classic wooden barrels. Along the way, explore historic cellars, massive breweries, and charming beer gardens, all while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere that makes Munich’s beer culture legendary.
To make the evening even more fun, the guide will award the Beer Champion Trophy to one lucky guest, celebrating the spirit of the night (it’s not just about who drinks the most!). Traditional Bavarian food is available for purchase at select stops, allowing you to pace yourself while enjoying the strong local brews.
With over a decade of experience guiding travelers through Munich’s beer scene, our team knows exactly how to create a fun, safe, and memorable night out. By the end of the tour, you’ll have raised a Maß, learned fascinating stories, and experienced Munich in a way few visitors do — truly going beyond beer.
Important: This tour is not for stag or bachelor parties. Please book a private tour for this.
