-What you can expect- On this full-day private tour, you'll visit two of the most popular attractions in China: the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall and the Summer Palace.
Begin your adventure with pickup from your Beijing downtown hotel and travel for about one hour and a half to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Your tour guide will explain the related histories as you take in the countryside scenery along the way. Upon arrival, use the cable car or ski lift to reach the Wall, then follow your guide and hike up and down for about one hour and a half at the various sections of the Wall. Listen to interesting stories while exploring the watch and beacon towers, and then ride down by either cable car or toboggan.
Next, enjoy a delicious local lunch before you start visiting a well-preserved royal garden, the Beijing Summer Palace. Let your guide bring you back to the Qing Dynasty, gain deep insight into the history of this Imperial Garden and learn the stories about the famous " Dragon Lady".
