-What you can expect- Korea, divided into two distinct countries, South Korea and North Korea, offers a fascinating study in contrasts. On this tour, you'll safely explore the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ), gaining a rare insight into the history and ongoing reality of the Korean Peninsula's division.
You'll visit the 3rd Invasion Tunnel, one of four known tunnels dug by North Korea for infiltration purposes. At Dora Observatory, binoculars will bring into focus the North Korean propaganda village of Kijong-dong and the city of Kaesong. You'll also see Unification Village and other significant sites.
Inside the North Korea Experience Centre, you'll find displays, videos, and original North Korean items. Here, you'll meet a real defector and join a live talk about life beyond the border.
A highlight of your journey will be visiting the Lake Majang suspension Bridge. Spanning 220 metres across Lake Majang, this bridge was once a fierce battlefield during the Korean War. This tour provides an enlightening experience, offering a deeper understanding of the complexities surrounding the division of the Korean Peninsula.
