-What you can expect- Korea is divided into two countries, South Korea and North Korea. This tour takes you to the Demilitarised Zone (DMZ) in a carefully managed and secure setting, offering an educational look at the history of the Korean Peninsula and the realities of its division today.
Your journey includes several significant sites, including the 3rd Invasion Tunnel, Dora Observatory, Unification Village and more. The 3rd Invasion Tunnel is one of four known tunnels dug by North Korea as an infiltration route into the South. At Dora Observatory, you'll have the opportunity to use binoculars to view Kijong-dong, a North Korean propaganda village, and the city of Kaesong.
You'll also visit the North Korea Experience Centre, featuring displays, videos, and authentic North Korean items. Here, you'll meet a real defector and join a live discussion about life beyond the border.
Following your exploration of the DMZ, you'll visit Mt. Gamaksan suspension Bridge, a site of intense conflict during the Korean War. This experience offers an educational experience, providing insight into the tensions surrounding the Korean Peninsula's division.
