The dimensions of the Port of Hamburg are impressive and second only to Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe. Hardly another city in the world is so tied to its port and because of this, it allowed Hamburg to truly develop. The most important sights and the skyline are inextricably linked to the port.

Experience the contrast between past and present, commerce and culture, the little fishing town along the Elbe and the state-of-the-art container complexes, sinful stretches and the fish market, old cutters and massive cruise and container ships. Discover this gateway to the world up-close on board a little ship, equally suited to a fleet.

The live commentary is in German. The audio guide's English commentary is accessible via the free Rainer Abicht mobile app. (You must download the app in advance and obtain the access code on site.)

  • Before embarking on the cruise, you'll need to download the free Rainer Abicht app on your phone. It is advisable to do this at least two hours in advance, allowing time and ensuring a stable internet connection

  • Seats are not assigned with the purchase. You can freely choose where to sit
