Explore Pisa on this shore excursion from Livorno. Upon disembarking, you will take one of the shuttle buses departing from the harbor to reach your tour leader in the easily recognizable green shirt at the shuttle bus stop.

Visiting on your own Pisa by crossing the ancient walls of the city and religious center "Piazza dei Miracoli": a Unesco World Heritage Site, renamed as one of the most important centers of medieval art in the world. Fall in love with the magnificent Piazza dei Miracoli, with its incredible contrasts between the green of the meadows and the white of the precious marbles. Then let yourself be fascinated by the famous Tower of the city, now a destination for thousands of tourists from all over the world, the ancient Cathedral and the Baptistery.
Then you can continue your solo visit in Via Santa Maria, an ancient road that connected the religious center with Piazza dei Cavalieri with its Church, the prestigious university "la normale" founded by Napoleon Bonaparte and the Gualandi Tower, where the famous Count Ugolino, one of the protagonists of Dante's Divine Comedy, died of hunger.

Finally, on your own visit lasts through the ancient medieval district "Borgo stretto" up to the middle bridge from which you can enjoy the splendid view of the Lungarni with its ancient palaces rich in history, the food market, and the university area surrounded by surprising medieval towers.
