Simme rafting from Interlaken or Därstetten

On this rafting tour, you’ll experience the wild Simme River in the picturesque Bernese Oberland. The Simme’s rapids are safe and ideal for families, school groups, and company outings. Each boat has a professional guide who safely leads the group through the wild river.

If you book the tour starting from Interlaken, your guide will meet you at the provider’s home base in Wilderswil. If you join in Därstetten, the meeting point is at Därstetten train station. In this case, please arrive 45 minutes after the scheduled tour time at the station.

At the start, you’ll get an introduction to rafting and a brief safety briefing from your guide. Then all participants will be properly equipped and can change in the cabins. The ride takes you down the stunning Simme River. You’ll spend about 1:30 to 2:00 hours on the river, finishing in Därstetten. The river’s whitewater class is II-III. The rafting tour ends in Därstetten, where you’ll be transported back to your starting point.

**Practical information:**

+ Swimming skills are a plus but not mandatory
+ Bring swimwear, a towel, and a small daypack
+ You can choose either Interlaken or Därstetten as your meeting point. Note that the meeting time at Därstetten is 45 minutes later than your booked time.
+ The main language spoken is English. The guides also speak at least one other language such as German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, etc.
