Begin with classroom learning focused on freediving physics and physiology, how your body responds underwater, and essential techniques such as breath control and equalization. Move into confined-water sessions to train static and dynamic apnea, improve your breath-hold and swimming efficiency, and learn core safety skills including the buddy system, safety protocols, and rescue procedures.
Next, head out by boat for open-water training. Apply what you’ve learned through progressive dives, practicing free immersion (FIM) and constant weight (CWT) techniques while reinforcing correct equalization, relaxed movement, and safe partner routines.
Depending on your chosen option, your training progresses to deeper dives—up to 15–20 meters—with the 3-day option adding extra open-water sessions and additional time to practice rescue procedures.
