This 90 minute tour combines history and local culture touring around downtown Bar Harbor’s historic homes and businesses. The tour starts in the Village Green and progresses along Mt Desert Street passing through the Village Green Cemetery before seeing a range of Gilded Age cottages. As we proceed down Cottage St, your guide will point out some of the best places to eat and drink. From Agamont Park view the working harbor and learn about the fishing industries that define Maine. Strolling along the Shore Path, take in views of the surrounding views of Acadia National Park outer islands, Egg Rock Light, and Balance Rock. The tour will conclude back at the Village Green.
