We will take a walking tour to learn about the lives and stories of some of the most important figures in Turin in the 19th century: Juliette Colbert, an advocate for improving the living conditions of women in prison and beyond; Don Bosco, who through his oratory and schools saved many children and young people, establishing the Salesian work that is still widespread around the world today; Benedetto Cottolengo, who cared for the most vulnerable and founded the Little House of Divine Providence; and Giuseppe Cafasso, also known as the priest of the gallows. A story that seems distant but is still very relevant today.
