商品说明
Inside the rooms of the historic "Birthplace of Eau de Cologne", which can only be visited with a booked guide, in the heart of the city center just a stone's throw from the Cathedral, you will discover the story of Giovanni Maria Farina, an Italian who emigrated to Cologne, the inventor of the world-famous Eau de Cologne, the first modern perfume in history.
His creation was so successful among noble customers, including kings and emperors, that it triggered a real thriller, involving counterfeiters and plagiarism, an odyssey that continues to the present day.
In addition to the historical narrative spanning three centuries, you will visit three historic rooms with original objects from the period, and in the authentic underground cellar you will also experience the perfumer's workshop, with its traditional tools and a sensory test that will entertain both adults and children.
