Embark on a captivating day-long guided hike to Tsetsee Gun Peak, the highest summit of Bogd Khan Mountain, which is the first of only 10 state-sacred mountains in Mongolia and designated as a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
This adventure seamlessly blends Mongolia’s rich cultural heritage with its stunning natural landscapes, offering an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts and history buffs alike.
Depart from Ulaanbaatar and drive to Manzushir Monastery.
Embark on a 6.5km (4 miles) hike to Tsetsee Gun Peak, navigating forested slopes and enjoying the serene natural environment. Traverse trails lined with Siberian larch, pine forests, home to over 220 plant species and diverse wildlife, including red deer, roe deer, ibex and various bird species.
Ascend to the pinnacle of Bogd Khan Mountain, recognized as the world’s first national park since the 13th century. The peak offers panoramic views of Ulaanbaatar and the surrounding wilderness.
