The trip started on time, the guide was easy to spot with a green vest. The bus arrived on time and the ride was comfortable. The guide provided much information about Beijing and the Great Wall during the ride (but in Mandarin Chinese only). However, by the end of bus ride to the great wall, the guide starts selling the cable car tickets, Chinese drama show, and lunch to the passengers. And the guide keeps saying how incredibly hard it is to climb up from tower 1 to 8 (although from what I experienced it was not as challenging as he said), basically forcing me to buy the cable car ticket (I didn’t buy in the end). Getting the cable car does save you a lot of time and effort as it brings you directly to tower 7 next to 好漢坡, but it also brings you to the most crowded area of the wall and be forced to be crammed with hundreds of others. You will miss quite a lot of the view on the way.

I joined a one-day trip to the Great Wall and the Summer Palace with Aria as my guide. She was very organised and planned the route well, which helped save a lot of transport time. Her English was clear and easy to understand, and she explained the history in an interesting way. Highly recommended.

第一次到北京旅遊人生地不熟，原本擔心訂的行程會不會聯繫不到，但旅行社提前9天就預先聯繫了讓人有安全感。飯店接送時遇到一些狀況，但旅行社很積極處理問題，讓行程順利進行。導遊講解的很好，聽到許多和以前知道的歷史不同的新認識，還原古人的生活故事，聽起來特別有趣。這幾天聽到不錯的一段話：如果少了導遊專業的解說，當然可以自己走走拍拍照，但沒有專業人士帶你深入理解它認識它，這些照片回去不知道何時才會打開來看，最後變成暫存容量滿了就消失了。推薦大家🤙 未來有孩子一定會再帶他來聽故事
