Discover Nagano’s traditional food and hot spring culture on this hands-on experience. After meeting your guide, travel to the cooking venue and learn how to make oyaki, one of Nagano’s most popular local foods, as well as traditional Japanese onigiri. With guidance from the staff, prepare your own meal using local ingredients and enjoy what you have made for lunch.

After lunch, travel to the historic Shibu Onsen area, a traditional hot spring town known for its charming streets and long history. Take a walk through the town with your guide and experience the atmosphere of a classic Japanese onsen town. Guests who wish to do so can also enjoy bathing in a traditional Japanese hot spring. At the end of the experience, you will be taken back to your designated drop-off point.
