Discover the famous Elafonisi Beach on a full-day trip from Chania. Travel through the scenic landscapes of western Crete, taste local honey and enjoy plenty of free time by the sea, and visit the traditional village of Elos.

Begin your day with pickup from a selected meeting point near your accommodation. Relax aboard a modern, air-conditioned bus as your experienced driver and tour escort take you through the beautiful Cretan countryside.

Stop at the Stathakis Family Honey Experience and learn about traditional honey production in Crete. Enjoy a complimentary tasting of different local honey varieties.

Continue to Elafonisi, one of the most famous beaches in Crete. Admire its turquoise waters, shallow lagoons, and unique pink-tinted sand.

Enjoy approximately 3.5-4 hours free time at the beach. Swim in the warm, crystal-clear water, relax on the shore, walk through the shallow lagoon to the small islet, or explore the protected natural landscape at your own pace.

For a more comfortable beach experience, each booking includes the free use of one beach umbrella. This is provided on loan and must be returned to the bus before departure.

On the return journey, stop at the traditional village of Elos, surrounded by chestnut trees and peaceful countryside. Enjoy free time to have an optional meal at a local restaurant, taste authentic Cretan dishes, or take a short walk through the village.

Finish the day with a comfortable journey back to Chania after an experience combining swimming, Cretan flavors, natural scenery, and traditional village life.

  • Know Before You Go: When you arrive to Elafonisi, all vehicles stop at the designated parking area. From there, there is an approximately 10-minute walk to reach Elafonisi Beach.

  • Know Before You Go: One beach umbrella and one beach mat are provided free of charge per booking, not per person, and must be returned before departure.

  • Know Before You Go: The estimated return time to Chania is between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM. The exact arrival time may vary depending on traffic.

  • Know Before You Go: The pink color of the sand is a natural phenomenon and may not be equally visible in all areas or at all times. Removing sand, shellsm from the beach is strictly prohibited.
