1. Hotel Pick-Up & Departure from Argostoli Town
Sit back and enjoy the complimentary local snacks and beverages as we head north along the island's stunning, winding coastal roads.
2. Myrtos Beach two Viewpoint (Photo Stop)
Our first major stop is the world-renowned viewpoint high above Myrtos Beach. Framed by towering limestone cliffs, the dramatic contrast of the brilliant white pebbles against the electric, milky-blue Ionian Sea is mesmerizing. We'll pause here so you can capture the ultimate Kefalonian postcard photo.
3. Assos Traditional Village (30-Minute Visit)
Next, we descend to the picturesque peninsula of Assos. Built amphitheatrically around a narrow isthmus and overshadowed by a 16th-century Venetian castle, this village is a splash of pastel-colored houses nestled in dense pine forests. You will have 30 minutes to stroll the quiet alleys, admire the bougainvillea, and soak in the tranquil harbor atmosphere.
4. Famous Fiskardo Traditional Village (1-Hour Visit)
We continue our scenic drive to the northernmost tip of the island to reach Fiskardo. Because it was largely spared by the 1953 earthquake, this cosmopolitan port retains its original Venetian architecture. During your one-hour stop, you can walk among the luxury yachts and traditional fishing boats, browse the boutique shops, or grab a quick coffee at an elegant waterfront café.
5. The Scenic East Coast Drive
As we loop back south, you'll enjoy a beautiful, uninterrupted coastal drive passing through three distinct local landmarks:
Agia Efthymia Fishing Village : We will pass by this traditional, bustling fishing village known for its vibrant marina and traditional tavernas.
Sami: We will cruise through the island's main eastern port town, surrounded by rich mountainous landscapes.
6. Antisamos "Captain Corelli" Beach (1.5-Hour Swim Stop)
After touring the villages, it is time to relax. We stop at Antisamos Beach—the spectacular, vibrant green-and-blue bay made famous by the movie Captain Corelli's Mandolin. The hills here are densely forested right down to the shoreline. You will have a full hour and a half to swim in the crystal-clear, deep waters. were we can eat at a resturant
Important Note: Antisamos is a pebble beach, so beach shoes/water shoes are highly recommended for your comfort while getting in and out of the water.
7. Return to Argostoli
Fully refreshed, we will make the scenic drive back across the island, returning you safely to Argostoli at the end of the tour.
