Meet your guide at the entrance to Griffith Park, by the Greek Theater. Begin your hike by climbing up through the Bird Sanctuary and into the Hollywood Hills. As you hike, learn about the early inhabitants of Los Angeles, the Tongva, and how their names are still used today.

As you hike into the Hollywood Hills, see Los Angeles spread below you, and get a sense of how the city developed and how the different neighborhoods connect to each other.

From the summit of Mount Hollywood, enjoy panoramic views of almost the whole of LA, including the San Fernando Valley, Glendale, downtown, and the whole Westside. Follow the fire roads down, stopping at some of the best places to get photos of the Hollywood Sign, all the way to the Griffith Observatory.

Finish your hike with a quick tour of the magnificent Observatory, before being left to enjoy this crowning jewel of LA.

If you're comparing different options, unlike tours that only feature the Hollywood Sign, this has great views of the sign, as well as visiting the Greek Theatre, the Bird Sanctuary, a secret garden AND the Griffith Observatory It's also a gentler hike at a cooler time of day.
