Begin your experience in the backyard, where you’ll meet the younger kunekunes and the house pigs. Learn how this unique breed was brought back from the brink of extinction and discover their gentle nature.

Next, visit the farrowing pens, which may be home to breeding pairs, expectant mothers, or adorable nursing piglets, depending on the season. As you venture further, pass horses, a donkey, and a lively assortment of show chickens and ducks before arriving at the paddocks.

Meet the rest of the Halbert Herd and learn their individual stories and personalities. Hang out by the pond to give them treats and all the belly rubs they can handle. The pigs are so smart they even know how to sit. A visit to the miniature zebu cows is likely as well.

End the tour back in the backyard to say your final goodbyes and give some last treats to the youngest pigs and piglets.
