Ice formations and frozen waterfalls are seasonal and depend on weather conditions. During warmer periods, this experience operates as a guided Grotto Canyon hike. Ice and snow conditions cannot be guaranteed.

Begin with a walk on a frozen creek bed in Grotto Canyon, surrounded by towering canyon walls, dramatic ice formations, and frozen waterfalls. Discover ancient Indigenous pictographs hidden on the rock walls, some believed to be over 1,500 years old. Ice cleats are provided to ensure a safe and comfortable walk on the ice.

Next, visit Lake Louise, often called the "Jewel of the Rockies." In winter, the turquoise lake transforms into a frozen wonderland surrounded by snow-covered peaks and the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
