One of the most interesting old towns is in Szczecin. West Pomerania has a huge and fascinating history. Hear legends, facts and stories about the Duchy of Pomerania and discover the remains of the city fortifications while walking with your private guide.

Follow the medieval trail and see Szczecin’s top attractions. The route starts at Plac Andersa, where you will discover monuments hidden among the park’s trees and plants. One is a funny bench with a seated figure of Jan Czekanowski. Look around and find the others. Along the way, admire the stunning towers of several Roman Catholic churches and look inside the Roman Catholic Church of St. Wojciech. Nearby, you will find Water Gate, a fantastic fountain that can create a colourful show after sunset. Look at the great 14th-century Cathedral Basilica of St James the Apostle and see the former noble residences, ornate houses, including the decorative Loitz's Tenement, now home to the State High School of Visual Arts. Walk down toward Odra River to see adorable Market Sienny Square with Town Hall.

Follow your guide to one of the best viewpoints at Bulwar Piastowski, admire the landscapes, and then see the pride of Szczecin—the Pomeranian Dukes’ Castle.
