3 Days and 2 Nights at the Salt Eco-Lodge

DAY 1
Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde, Polques Hot Springs, Sol de Mañana Geyser, Laguna Colorada, Árbol de Piedra, Laguna Cachi, Laguna Kara, Laguna Chulluncani, San Juan (Sal Eco-Lodge).

DAY 2
Departure from the Eco-Lodge in Sal, Uyuni Salt Flats, Incahuasi Island, Coquesa, Hotel de Sal, Ojos de Salar, Town of Uyuni, Return to the Salt Flats (Before leaving the salt flats, we will enjoy the sunset with a small picnic and return to the Eco-Lodge in Sal).

Day 3
Departure from the Sal Eco-Lodge, Necropolis Museum, Chiguana Salt Flat, Avaroa Immigration Control, Ollague Immigration Control (entry into Chile), Ollague Volcano Viewpoint, Carcote Salt Flat, Ascotán Salt Flat, San Pedro and San Pablo Volcanoes, Puruña Volcano, Chiu-Chiu Village, Calama, Loa Calama Airport.

  • Know Before You Go: The route to the salt flat is typically cold, windy, and subject to high solar radiation. Although the days are usually sunny and pleasant, the weather can change dramatically. We recommend bringing:

  • Know Before You Go: Clothing: Warm, thick clothing, woolen gloves, and woolen socks.

  • Know Before You Go: Accessories: Wool beanie (covering the ears) and sun hat.

  • Know Before You Go: Footwear: Trekking shoes or boots.

  • Know Before You Go: For the hot springs: Towel and swimsuit.

  • Know Before You Go: Protection: Lip balm, high-SPF sunscreen, and very dark sunglasses with UV protection.
