Experience the beauty of Bondhus Glacier Lake (Bondhusvatnet) on a full-day bus tour from Bergen, including two ferry crossings on the Hardangerfjord.

Travel through the heart of the Hardanger region, passing steep mountains, fertile valleys, charming villages, and waterfalls along the route.

At the foot of the Bondhusbreen Glacier, enjoy an easy and scenic walk to Bondhus Glacier Lake, located in Folgefonna National Park. The walk follows a historic road built in 1863 and is suitable for all fitness levels. The wide gravel path has a gentle incline, and we allow plenty of time to enjoy the walk and relax by the crystal-clear lake, surrounded by dramatic rock formations and glacier views.

The tour also includes a visit to the village of Rosendal, where you’ll enjoy a warm, locally inspired lunch made with fresh ingredients.
This is a light lunch based on Norwegian traditions, including vegetables, meat, and freshly baked bread. You are welcome to bring snacks or some additional food for the hike up to Bondhus.

Throughout the day, a knowledgeable local guide accompanies you, sharing insights about the region’s nature, history, and culture, while ensuring a relaxed and well-organized experience.
