Giới thiệu sản phẩm

Follow the road into the Tamok Valley and watch the landscape open up into wide Arctic wilderness — steep mountains, frozen rivers, and vast snow-covered terrain stretching in every direction. This is where the journey shifts from transport to true exploration.

Meet your experienced local guide and gear up with thermal suits and essential winter equipment. After a clear safety briefing and hands-on introduction to snowmobile riding, you’ll be ready to handle the terrain ahead. No previous experience is required — the focus is on control, awareness, and riding confidently in Arctic conditions.

Ride through valleys and open mountain terrain, moving beyond settled areas and into quieter sections of the landscape. The route follows natural contours of the land, with regular stops to regroup, take photos, and absorb the scale and stillness of the surroundings.

After the snowmobile ride, step inside a traditional Sámi lavvu — a cone-shaped tent used by herders for centuries — to enjoy a hearty Arctic meal and hot drinks. Warm up, refuel, and share stories as you experience the cozy, authentic atmosphere of a Sámi winter shelter, a true pause in the heart of the wilderness. Inside the lavvu, you may also see examples of Sámi duodji, traditional handcrafted items made from natural materials such as wood, leather, bone, and antler — each piece reflecting deep knowledge of nature, functionality, and cultural identity. You may also participate in a hands-on workshop and make your own Sámi duodji, guided by traditional techniques.

Once rested, continue to a Sámi-owned reindeer camp, where you’ll be welcomed by a local reindeer herder and introduced to reindeer herding as a way of life shaped by seasons, movement, and Arctic conditions. Learn how herders care for the animals, manage grazing routes, and preserve traditions passed down through generations — from herding practices to duodji craftsmanship, which remains an important cultural expression today.

Step inside the enclosure and spend time close to the reindeer under the guidance of the herder. Feed them by hand, observe their behavior, and experience the quiet presence of these Arctic animals up close. This immersive encounter offers a reflective contrast to the adrenaline of the snowmobile ride and a deep, genuine connection to Sámi culture and Arctic life before the journey back.

Normally, there is sufficient snow from mid-November onwards, and the snowmobile activity operates as planned. However, in the unlikely event that there is not enough snow on the scheduled date, the snowmobile ride will not be canceled outright.
Instead, the snowmobile activity will be replaced with an alternative experience, such as a guided hike or a four-wheeler (ATV) activity, depending on availability and weather conditions on the day. The rest of the tour, including the Sami reindeer experience, will still take place. You will be informed in advance of the changes and may chose to instead cancel for a full refund
