Longyearbyen: Northern Lights Photo Safari (Max 8 guests)｜Svalbard and Jan Mayen

Leave the lights of Longyearbyen behind and head into the darkness of Adventdalen on a relaxed Northern Lights Photo Safari.
Your evening begins with pickup directly at your accommodation. From there, we travel into darker areas away from the town lights, following the weather, cloud cover and visibility to find the best conditions available that evening.
Once we reach a suitable location, there is time to slow down, take in the Arctic night and prepare your camera. Your guide will help you with camera settings, exposure times and focusing, whether you are taking your first Northern Lights photographs or already have experience with night photography. We also look at composition and foregrounds, helping you create images that show more than just the Aurora in the sky.
As conditions change, we stay flexible and may move between different locations. The Arctic landscape, mountains and open valley can provide striking foregrounds, while the sky above Svalbard’s polar-night landscape becomes the main stage. Between stops, enjoy hot drinks and snacks while keeping an eye on the sky.
The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed. However, we continuously monitor the conditions and adapt the route and stops to give you the best available opportunities during the evening.
This experience is limited to a maximum of 8 guests, allowing enough time for personal photography guidance and a relaxed atmosphere throughout the safari.
