Depart Reykjavík and head southeast along the scenic Ring Road. Visit two of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls, Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss. Walk behind the veil of Seljalandsfoss, a 60-meter-high waterfall, and climb the stairs alongside Skógafoss for panoramic views or stand at the base and feel the spray.

Explore a black sand beach with towering basalt columns and spot seabirds and view sea-carved arches from dramatic cliffs. Enjoy a craft lunch or dinner in Vík before returning to Reykjavík.

Make optional stops at a glacier for easy walking or a guided hike, or visit a museum or exhibition to deepen your experience.
