Begin your private tour with a pickup from your hotel or cruise terminal in Reykjavík. Head to Kleifarvatn Lake, surrounded by black volcanic slopes and dramatic mountain scenery.

Next, visit an accessible geothermal area with steam vents, mineral colors, and volcanic terrain. Travel through wide lava fields covered in moss, with several photography stops along the way.

Reach the remote Selvogur district, known for isolated churches, lava beaches, and Atlantic views. Visit a small countryside church and hear about the difficult lives of Icelandic fishing and farming communities.

Enjoy an optional lunch or café stop before exploring the Þorlákshöfn Fishing Harbour and learning about Iceland’s commercial fishing industry. Stop at selected viewpoints overlooking sea cliffs, black beaches, and lava formations.

Travel back through Ölfus and the geothermal countryside before being dropped off in Reykjavík.
