Nestled in the breathtaking foothills of the Wicklow Mountains on the historic Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, Powerscourt Distillery seamlessly merges 300 years of Irish heritage with state-of-the-art craft distilling.

Your journey begins at the restored 1700's Old Mill House, where ancient stone architecture meets a bright, modern visitor center. Step behind the scenes on a 60-minute fully guided tour to explore the art and science of Irish whiskey production.

Walk alongside custom copper pot stills, inhale the rich aromas of fermenting grain, and discover how pure Wicklow mountain water shapes every drop. Your expert local guide will reveal the story of the estate, the revival of distilling in Wicklow and the craftsmanship behind our spirit.

To top off your experience, sit down for a guided tasting of three award-winning Fercullen Irish Whiskeys, learning to identify distinct flavor profiles, finishes, and wood influences.

  • Know Before You Go: Powerscourt Distillery is located on the historic Powerscourt Estate in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow. Situated directly across from the main visitor parking area, the distillery is just a 3-to-5-minute walk from Powerscourt House & Gardens and a 10-to-15-minute walk to the Powerscourt Hotel and Golf Club.

  • Know Before You Go: The distillery tour is open to guests aged 15 years and over. In compliance with licensing laws, whiskey tastings are strictly reserved for adults aged 18 and over (valid photo ID may be required). Guests aged 15 to 17 are permitted to partake in the tour and will receive a soft drink alternative in place of the whiskey tasting.

  • Know Before You Go: Powerscourt is a working distillery. Guests must follow all safety instructions. Flat, closed-toe footwear is highly recommended.
