What better way to elevate your Lapland husky experience than on a private dog sledding tour. Sit on a big sled pulled by a large team of sociable and enthusiastic huskies, driven by a professional guide. Your group are the only participants on the tour so we are fully focused on giving you the most from this experience.

Travel through the amazing landscape of Swedish Lapland, weaving your way through varied landscape of frozen lakes and pine forests. If you're lucky you may even see reindeer or moose along the way.

Stop at a Lavvu (tipi tent) for a traditional Swedish "fika" (a hot drink with homemade cake) and enjoy lots of cuddles with the dogs. Learn about the surrounding wildlife, the traditions of the Sami reindeer herders, and listen to stories about raising our family of huskies and some of the races we've participated in before heading back towards the kennels. We end the tour with a last 'thank you' to the dogs as they run free around the yard before they head back to their houses for a well-earned nap.

We provide high quality outer clothing to ensure your comfort so you can make the most of your experience out in the wild, even in cold temperatures.

This tour is suitable for couples, groups of friends or families with children.

Pick-up from your accommodation is included (up to 25km from our base close to Kurravaara) and is usually at 12.30.

  • Know Before You Go: You are welcome to drive your own car to us arriving at the tour 'start' time. There is plenty of parking (free of charge)

  • Know Before You Go: Customers must be able to sit with their legs either side of a low bench seat with knees bent at 90-degree angle for at least 30 minutes
