Start your morning like a local as you explore Le Marais, one of Paris’s most charming neighborhoods, before the crowds arrive. Once a marshland on the edge of the city, today Le Marais is celebrated for its exceptional patisseries, artisanal charcuteries, and standout cheese shops, all gathered around the elegant Place des Vosges.

Begin with a takeaway coffee from one of the area’s beloved independent cafés, then enjoy a buttery croissant from Poilâne, the legendary bakery crafting artisan breads since 1932. Continue with a classic Quiche Lorraine at Maison Vérot, a charcuterie institution since 1930, before finishing with a pastry of your choice at SAIN, where the apple turnover and chocolate éclair are local favorites.
