Discover the Loire Valley and Dordogne on a private 2-day journey from Paris combining royal castles, prehistoric masterpieces, and an extraordinary natural cave.

On the first morning, meet your private driver at your Paris accommodation and travel to the Loire Valley. Visit Château de Chenonceau, one of France’s most elegant Renaissance castles, built gracefully across the River Cher. Explore its richly furnished rooms, remarkable history, and beautiful surroundings.

Continue to Amboise for free time to enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, visit Château Royal d’Amboise, a former residence of French kings overlooking the Loire River. Discover its royal apartments, panoramic terraces, and the Chapel of Saint Hubert, closely associated with Leonardo da Vinci.

In the afternoon, leave the Loire Valley and travel south to Dordogne. Check in at a selected 3- or 4-star hotel near Lascaux and enjoy a free evening.

After breakfast on day 2, visit Lascaux IV, the International Centre for Cave Art. Explore a detailed reconstruction of the famous prehistoric cave and discover paintings created approximately 20,000 years ago.

Following free time for lunch, continue through the Vézère Valley to the Grotte du Grand Roc. Join the cave’s official guide and enter an extraordinary underground world of stalactites, stalagmites, calcite draperies, and rare crystal formations.

After the cave visit, relax during the private return journey to Paris, arriving at your hotel in the evening.

This is a private driver-led tour. Visits inside the castles, Lascaux IV, and Grand Roc Cave are self-guided, audio-guided, or conducted by the official guides of each venue.
