Giới thiệu sản phẩm

The Plateau de Valensole, the Verdon Gorges and the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie make up one of the most iconic landscapes in Provence. With lavender fields, spectacular cliffs, and medieval heritage, this region attracts visitors from all over the world every year to discover untouched nature and an authentic Provençal identity.
Located between the Durance River and the foothills of the Alps, the Plateau de Valensole is renowned for its vast expanses of lavender, which bloom mainly between June and July. During this period, the fields are adorned with an intense purple and emit a characteristic fragrance that makes Provence famous. Agriculture plays a vital role in the local economy: lavender, lavandin, almond trees, and cereals have shaped the landscape for generations. The plateau also offers many vantage points of the surrounding mountains and the hilltop villages typical of the region. Lavender cultivation isn't just about aesthetics; it also enables the production of essential oils used in perfumery, cosmetics, and aromatherapy.
Just a few kilometers away is the impressive Verdon Canyon, often considered the largest canyon in Europe. Carved out by the Verdon River over thousands of years, they stretch for nearly 25 kilometers and sometimes reach depths of more than 700 meters. The white and ocher limestone cliffs contrast with the turquoise waters of the Verdon, creating a spectacular landscape. This exceptional natural site attracts outdoor sports enthusiasts: hiking, kayaking, climbing, canyoning, and paragliding. The panoramic roads that run along the gorges also offer remarkable panoramas, especially from the famous Point Sublime.
Overlooking the entrance to the gorge, the village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is classified among the most beautiful villages in France. Nestled between two rocky cliffs, it is famous for its star suspended above the village as well as for its tradition of artistic earthenware, developed since the 17th century. Its narrow cobbled streets, fountains and old houses bear witness to a rich historic and cultural heritage. The village also has a Romanesque church and a perched chapel with beautiful views of the valley and the lake of Sainte-Croix.
The area formed by the Plateau de Valensole, the Verdon Canyon, and Moustiers-Sainte-Marie perfectly represents the union of nature, culture, and Provençal traditions. This region offers a unique experience where the beauty of the landscapes blends with local history and craftsmanship, making this area a must-see destination in the south of France.
