Entering the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and walking from salon to salon is like slipping into the shoes of courtiers and politicians during the reign of Louis XIV.
The apartments are richly decorated and furnished according to the original appearance of the castle, with luxury furniture and works of art from the 17th and 18th centuries. A true palace of the arts, the Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, still under construction, already attracted artists from the whole of Europe and still imbues its visitors with the passion of the master of the house, Nicolas Fouquet, for the arts and sciences.
