Depart from Lourdes and head to the Pont d'Espagne, a must-see site in the Pyrenees. Drive along the road of waterfalls, which rises towards the high-altitude valleys and offers grand views of the mountain landscape.

Stop for a photo between waterfalls and tumultuous gorges, and choose to take the chairlift to Lake Gaube or walk to Marcadau, which is home to rich fauna and flora. Return via Cauterets, a thermal town once visited by Napoleon III and Eugénie.
