Condom, the City of the Musketeers**
The day begins with a walking tour of the charming town of Condom. Discover its historic center and its famous group of statues dedicated to the Musketeers, a symbol of Gascon heritage and the spirit of d’Artagnan.

Leisurely boat ride on the Baïse River
Then, climb aboard the boat “d’Artagnan” for a leisurely cruise along the Baïse (from April to October). As you glide along the water, you’ll pass through a lock and relive the era when barges transported grain, wine, and other goods. This cruise offers a unique insight into the vital role the river played in trade and local life in the past.

Auch, the historic capital of the Gers department
Continue on to Auch, the former capital of Gascony. Explore its medieval heart, with its picturesque narrow streets, the Armagnac Tower, and the famous monumental staircase. You can also admire the statue of d’Artagnan and take a moment to visit the majestic Sainte-Marie Cathedral, which towers over the town. Free time for lunch.

Lupiac, d’Artagnan’s Birthplace
Head to Lupiac, the birthplace of Charles de Batz de Castelmore, better known as d’Artagnan. Stroll under the village’s shady arcades or take the opportunity to visit the museum dedicated to the famous Musketeer, which tells his true story, a blend of legend and reality.

The Tower of Termes-d’Armagnac
The afternoon concludes with a visit to the spectacular Tour de Termes d’Armagnac. This impressive medieval fortress offers a stunning panorama of the Gascon countryside and transports visitors into a world of knights, battles, and key moments in the region’s history: a true journey back in time!
