Meet your guide, Rodolphe Rutman, a WWII expert with over 30 years of private research. He has been connected to the events of June 6, 1944, since he was involved in the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994. That year, he assisted a group of 41 American veteran paratroopers who came to perform a commemorative jump near Sainte-Mère-Église.

Afterwards, Rodolphe became a filmmaker specializing in history. He has directed 4 TV documentary films about D-Day, which were broadcast internationally. This enabled him to interview more than 200 people who witnessed the events of summer 1944, including 13 American veterans who landed on Omaha Beach. Today, he lives in Normandy and likes to share his passion for this subject by leading visits to memorial sites.

Begin your tour at the Pointe Du Hoc Memorial, where you’ll spend an hour exploring the site. Continue to the D-Day Omaha Museum for a 15-minute visit, followed by a 1-hour stop at the Normandy American Cemetery.

Next, visit WN 62 (Widerstandsnest 62) for an hour, then head to Omaha Beach Dog White for a 30-minute stop. Continue to Rue Bernard Dargols for 20 minutes, followed by a 15-minute visit to the Advanced Landing Ground.

Next, visit the Omaha Beach Memorial for 10 minutes, then head to the site of the first US cemetery in Normandy for a 15-minute stop. Finally, spend 50 minutes at the Mémorial The soldiers 29th Division's.
