Explore Dan Yr Ogof, one of Europe’s largest and most fascinating cave systems, located in South Wales. Stretching an impressive 17 km, this complex of grottos and caves is a natural wonder and a site of great historical and scientific importance.

Learn about the first exploration of the caves by brothers Tommy and Jeff Morgan in the early 20th century. Discover how their courage and determination paved the way for us to explore today one of the most incredible cave systems in the world.

During excavations at Dan Yr Ogof, 42 human skeletons were found, belonging to people who inhabited the caves during prehistoric times. These remains provide a fascinating insight into life during the Stone Age and how early humans used the caves as shelter and refuge.

Admire one of the largest collections of life-size dinosaurs, with around 200 dinosaur models. From Tyrannosaurus rex to Triceratops, admire these magnificent creatures in full scale and learn more about the age of dinosaurs through interactive displays.
