Leave the city behind for a day built around doing, not just looking. This small-group adventure trades the standard sightseeing stops for genuine activity in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park - paddling, hiking, and driving through some of Wales' most dramatic mountain scenery.

Your day begins with a stop in the mountain village of Bethesda, a last chance to pick up lunch or snacks before heading into the national park.

From there, head to Llyn Padarn at Llanberis for a guided kayak session on the lake beneath the shadow of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) itself - with the ruined tower of Dolbadarn Castle watching over the water from the shore, a striking backdrop for a very different way to experience this landscape.

Next, travel through Pen-y-Pass, one of the most spectacular mountain roads in Wales, stopping at one of our favourite viewpoints for sweeping panoramic views across Yr Wyddfa and the surrounding peaks.

The day finishes with a guided hike around Llyn Ogwen, one of the most beautiful glacial lakes in Wales, nestled beneath towering mountains.

Travelling in a small group of just 5 means more time paddling, more time on the trail, and more time in the mountains - not sat on a coach.
