Join a family-run seal trip to Scroby Sands, the UK’s largest grey seal colony. Observe grey seals and common harbor seals in their natural environment. Enjoy a thrilling adventure and support a local business dedicated to showcasing the east coast’s marine life.

Depart from Lowestoft and head to Scroby Sands. Witness hundreds of seals in their habitat from a comfortable jet boat. See large groups of seals as they gather on the sandbanks during low tide and swim around the boat at high tide.

Scroby Sands, shaped by tides and currents, serves as a home for Norfolk seals. Known for its impressive wind farm, the sands provide a stunning backdrop for your seal-watching adventure.

  • Know Before You Go: Please arrive 30 minutes before departure for lifejacket fitting, waterproof gear checks and a safety briefing

  • Know Before You Go: Dress for all weather conditions. It can feel much colder at sea and conditions change quickly. Warm, waterproof clothing is strongly recommended. Waterproofs are available to borrow if needed

  • Know Before You Go: You are very likely to get wet on all trips unless the sea is completely flat calm

  • Know Before You Go: We reserve the right to refuse passage if appropriate clothing is not worn for safety reasons

  • Know Before You Go: You must wear our provided lifejackets for safety and compliance

  • Know Before You Go: Please avoid kilts, dresses or skirts as lifejackets have a leg strap that must be worn between the legs. Shorts or trousers are recommended. A change of clothes is advised

  • Know Before You Go: Hats are allowed but must be secured as they may be lost in strong winds

  • Know Before You Go: Sunscreen is strongly recommended due to increased exposure and reflection at sea
