Begin your tour in the village of Minions on Bodmin Moor, where you’ll meet your guide. Set off on a journey through open moorland and footpaths, avoiding public roads as much as possible.

Visit the prehistoric monuments of The Hurlers, Rillaton Barrow, and Stowe’s Pound. Learn about the copper and tin mines of Phoenix Mine and South Caradon, the geological formation of this wealth, and the lives of the miners that worked them.

See the granite quarries of Gold Diggings and Cheesewring, Daniel Gumbs Cave, The Cheesewring, and much more.

Depending on any adjustments you request to the length of the tour, also see Gold Diggings Quarry, ‘Oh Dear’ rock, Phoenix Mine, and East Caradon Mine.

Have the option to stop for a pub lunch at the Crow’s Nest (cost of food and drink not included in the tour price) or take a 30-minute walk down the lanes (being careful of traffic) to see Trethevy Quoit.
