Our Loch Tay gorge sessions are a great way of introducing adventurers to the joys of gorge walking. This gorge walking session is best suited to family groups. You will scramble your way up a beautiful mountain stream, wading, climbing, scrambling, and ducking under waterfalls. This is a great activity for anyone who likes getting wet!

Sessions last around 2 hrs from the meeting time and are based at Loch Tay Highland Lodges, near Killin.

Participants must be 6 years old or above and be ‘water confident’. It is not a requirement that participants can swim.

Children under 14 years old must be accompanied by a participating adult who can assist them into a wet suit and can help them on the trickier climbing sections in the stream.

  • Know Before You Go: Please allow plenty of time to travel to Loch Tay Highland Lodges if you are not staying on-site, particularly at busier times of the year when the roads are busiest. Park in the main public car park next to the Boathouse Restaurant and the Activity Office
