This day trip is for those who want to understand Neuschwanstein beyond the picture postcard image and discover Füssen as a real city of history, not just a setting.

This private tour starts in Munich. I will pick you up directly by car; the exact meeting point is agreed upon after booking. The trip to Alpine Bavaria is in a small group of up to 4 people.

We drive towards Neuschwanstein through the alpine landscapes of southern Bavaria. Once there, we discover the castle from the outside, exploring its history, its architecture, and the fascinating personality of King Ludwig II of Bavaria. Your live guide explains why this castle is not a classic medieval building, but a unique Romantic masterpiece that has become one of the most famous symbols of Germany.

We go to the iconic vantage points, which offer spectacular panoramas of the castle and the surrounding mountains.

The day trip continues to Füssen, one of the oldest towns in Bavaria. You will explore the historic old town, with its medieval alleys, painted facades, and authentic atmosphere.
