Take a look behind the festively decorated stalls and experience the world-famous Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt (Christmas Market) in a way that goes far beyond mulled wine and gingerbread!
This special guided tour takes you on a journey to meet the people who have been passionately shaping the market for generations.
At selected stops, you will get to know traditional family businesses and discover the fascinating craftsmanship behind the famous gilded angels, plum men and high-quality Christmas decorations. Hear fascinating anecdotes, learn about centuries-old traditions and discover surprising background information that remains hidden from ordinary visitors.

The interactive highlight: your goodie bag.
Of course, there will also be plenty of culinary delights. To experience the tour to the fullest with all your senses, you can purchase a personal souvenir bag on site. During the guided tour, this bag will be filled at various stops with hand-picked “Versucherle” (typical Nuremberg specialties) and lovingly chosen “Gschenkla” (small gifts). At the end, you will take home a perfectly filled piece of the Christkindlesmarkt as a souvenir.(Note: The surprise bag is optional and costs €8 as an add-on, payable on site). After this varied mix of history, crafts and culinary delights, you will see the Christkindlesmarkt in a completely new light!
