Book a 2-hour guided tour of Nymphenburg Palace and Carriage Museum in Munich. Our experienced local guide will lead the group of up to 25 participants to the palace entrance through the landscaped front garden with a fountain. At every turn, you will be amazed by the beauty and grand scale of these palace grounds, as they even surpass Versailles in frontal width. Forget about long queues at the ticket office, as we provide skip-the-line tickets to save you time.

Inside the Nymphenburg Palace, you will experience the true spirit of Baroque, as each room is decorated with beautiful frescos, old paintings, ornate tapestry, antique furniture and other treasures that testify to the aesthetics and power of the House of Wittelsbach. The guide will share fascinating stories about their court life, and show you highlights such as Max Emanuel's Great Gallery of Beauties, the Coat of Arms Chamber, the Queen’s Apartment and the Palace Chapel.

You will also visit the Carriage Museum (Marstallmuseum), which houses one of the largest collections of representative coaches and sleighs in the world, including the original Coronation Coach of Emperor Karl VII. You will learn about princely coach building, travel and equestrian culture of the royals. In the summer, you can also freely explore the extensive Nymphenburg Palace Park (closed in winter).   • Know Before You Go: In summer (April - September), admission includes the Nymphenburg Palace Park, which you can freely explore after the guided tour. The park is closed in winter (October-March).

  • Know Before You Go: The gardens are not green or lit up in winter, so it’s best to book a tour in spring, summer or early autumn.

  • Know Before You Go: We're not afraid of the sun and rain, so tour will take place as planned, regardless of weather, so please check forecast and dress appropriately.
