Enjoy a 2-hour guided Segway tour along the Rhein and see all that Mannheim has to offer. Ride by the noble Lindenhof area, through the magical Waldpark, and through the courtyard of the castle.

Experience Germany’s most beloved river in an entirely new way: an exclusive Segway tour is exciting not just for you and the pedestrians you pass along the way, but also catches the attention of the crews of passing boats!

The route will take us through the courtyard of the Mannheim Castle and across the castle garden to the shores of the Rhein, going toward the Rheinterrassen. We’ll continue along the Rhein, pass the noble Lindenhof area in the Waldpark on our way to the river’s shore, and return by a new route back to the castle.

  • Not Suitable For: People over 254 lbs (115 kg)

  • Not Allowed: Intoxication

  • Know Before You Go: Should the weather wreak havoc, pour buckets of rain down from the sky, or blanket us with a winter storm, the tour will of course be cancelled. Because we keep an eye on the weather and the forecasts are usually quite accurate, we can always tell with two days' notice whether our city safari will take place

  • Know Before You Go: Anyone who is at least 15 years old and has at least a moped license may take part. Participants must also weigh between 45 and 115 kg and be at least 1.40 meters tall

  • Know Before You Go: If you have serious physical restrictions, it’s better that you not take this tour. The same goes for riding under the influence of alcohol or drugs. As with any other vehicle, riding a Segway while intoxicated is not permitted
